Renan Studios - Putting the "ouch" back in "couch"

The year is 2014. You are in the role of a mischievous and young Japanese boy, Akira Tachibana, who is attending his junior year of high school. Just as the school year begins, however, during an assembly to welcome students, the school is attacked by vicious creatures who strangely resemble angels. In the chaos, Akira is cornered by three of these angels, but before they have the chance to kill him, a demon protects the boy and destroys the angels.

The demon, after fighting, finds itself severely weakened. It then tells Akira of the nature of this attack: A strong and mysterious god that claims itself as the Christian god is sending down angels to bring about the end of the world and, with it, the recreation of it as this god's kingdom.

Akira is in severe shock, but the demon tells him that, according to a prophecy by Lucifer, the world's existence can continue if a group of six devils, called the Six Satans, are resurrected. However, to resurrect these devils, the demons must find the six people on Earth destined to be hosts to the devil's spirits.

The demon then explains that the reason it saved Akira is because he is one of the Six Satans. With its last remnants of life and power, the demon sacrifices itself to give Akira the power to bring forth the devil within him.

As the devil's spirit comes through Akira, he realizes himself to be the leader and searcher of the other Six Satans: The Trickster.
